WELCOME TO MOUFID ARCHITECTURE
About
My name is Mouad Khiri and I am a Moroccan Architecture student at De Montfort University International College. I came to England to finish my higher education studies. Typical Moroccan architecture is quite diverse, it is the result of the many cultures and civilizations that have passed through it over the years, each leaving their unique touch. What first caught my eye is how this discipline mixes art, design, creativity, logic, and laws of nature (Mathematics and Physics). Architecture like many other fields follows a code of ethics which I think makes it more beneficial for humanity. Additionally, it seems fascinating that architects can design a project from a simple spark of creativity, to create magnificent masterpieces, which we've been blessed with observing; from basic and natural materials we can make it come to life as something that tells a story, something with a soul.
This year I was able to explore different media and develop my skills, critically (analysis, research, description), and practically (using different media and different software such as Autocad, Sketchup, and Photoshop).
